I acturly bought a new flash drive just to use its ReadyBoost feature. Heh ... PT Barnum was right. But by all means, trash a flash drive if it'll get the performance anywhere near what has existed in Linux for years. I'm looking forward to get a larger harddrive and 1 GB ram too. You'll need it.

I wouldnt get anything under 1GB personally, my notebook has 2GB plus im using another 2GB on readyboost cache and vista usually always take anywhere from 580MB on up this is with aero All the requirements are right and it comes with Windows Home Basic. The RAM is only 512MB and I plan on adding 1gb to that.

Hi, my laptop has 512mb ram, and to run vista home premium 'properly' i need 1gig according to the windows vista requirements. Supposed to be one of the faster drives, especially for random access, and it was mentioned on a site I found as being one of the few that works with ReadyBoost.
